What do we know about 2300 Terrier CT?

If you keep in touch with the local media, you are aware there was a report on May 27, 2021, of murder at 2300 Terrier Ct.   The thought came to me that this was another opportunity to utilize the database of crime reports from 2004-2020.

First, it is noticeable that 2300 Terrier CT is a block of six apartment houses. They are approximately the same age.

From the PVA records, they are owned by three different owners.  Weis Properties LLC owns four of them.  One of them is owned by the Louisville Metro Housing Authority and the last one is owned by a couple that I will not name.

Overall in the database observation period of 2004-2020 this block had 218 reports.

As you can see 2017 was the year of the highest number of reports. Overall, the sum of the reports at this location would essentially be 1.5 percent of the 13,824 reports over the time period and was only about 6.6  percent of what happened at 3300 Bardstown Rd over the same time period.

There were a variety of different reports over the time period.

Since the event that piqued my interest was yesterday's report of a murder, the two death reports should be examined.  The first one was on September 1, 2008 (a Monday) and the second one was on December 12,2010 (a Sunday).

It is tragic what was reported yesterday.  I am not sure that there is any particular pattern that I can put my finger on that we have to be worried about as a neighborhood.
